Aimless Ramblings of a Distracted Mind..

1. Choose 20 people from your MSN/AIM/ICQ/Email list at random.
2. Write something about/to each of them.
3. Don't tell anyone who the statements are about. Good or bad. No matter how they beg!

okay, so the hardest part was randomly choosing people to put on here. i feel like such a nerd, but in order to get a truly random sample i generated random numbers that i assigned to each person on my MSN list, and then sorted the people by their random numbers, and then chose every sixth person on that random list... kinda stupid, i suppose, since most of these people dont even read this blog, but whatever..

1. okay, well.. I've basically watched you grow up. I remember before you were born. I remember when you were brought home from the hospital, and were lying fast asleep on your grandma's lap. You were the prettiest little boy ever.. I'll never forget staring in awe at your luxurious eyelashes.. You're growing up to be such a great young man. I love chatting with you about Harry Potter, and hearing all your great stories.. stay cool, kid!

2. I love chatting with you. Over these past couple of years, we've gotten so close.. and it makes me so happy. You're one of the few people that I can talk to about absolutely anything, and be sure to get a brutally honest opinion from, and I know that it's because you care. Love ya, babe!

3. Firstly, congratulations! It was so great seeing you! It’s always such a pleasure talking to you on the phone, and I always have so much fun when we’re hanging out… If you ever want to shovel some snow, you know where to find me ;)

4. In a disgusting way, you are both the big brother I never had, and my biggest crush. It's so weird going home and not seeing you at dinner. From the awkward kid with a mouth full of metal, dancing to Michael Jackson; to a gorgeous, intelligent, talented man.. I'm so proud of you for getting to where you currently are.

5. you are one of the nicest people that it has ever been my privilege to know. Oddly enough, despite going to high school and university together, it wasn’t until lunch breaks at work that we really became friends.. but better late than never, I suppose. We have got to see each other more frequently this year.. and we’ve got to find and destroy that video.. lol.

6. Jeej!!
-What’s eatin’ ya?
-Nothing, he’s at the top of the food chain.. hahaha.. the FOOD CHAIN!
*woman on the TTC backs away*

7. I thought you were so cool. And then I hated you. And now I think perhaps I over-reacted. Oh well. Maybe we can be friends again one day. Maybe.

8. You're a pretty cool guy. I don’t know why we don’t talk anymore, but we totally have to get back in touch. You owe me a drink!

9. It’s been great reconnecting with you over this past year.. You’re not at all the cute little girl I remember from elementary school, but then again, neither am I. Here’s to growing up!

10. From the good girls we were back on Addy 2, to… now… we’ve come a long way; and I’m so glad that we’ve grown through it together…

11. Umm.. we need to get back in touch. All I really remember about you is sitting in front of you in Gym “Squads” back in JHS, and my then-best-friend having a huge crush on you. But from what I’ve read, you seem like a super-smart guy, and it would be so awesome to get together after all these years.

12. you’re such a classy girl.. I have so much respect for you. I miss living a few doors down from you, but it’s always such a pleasure to see you.. even if we cant run over to tim’s for a double-double, or mac-corry for a stirfry together, or borrow each other’s shoes anymore.

13. my honorary sister! You're the best! I miss you so so soooo much, and I cant wait to see you. Thank you for always being there when I needed someone with whom to laugh, hyperanalyze, cry, paint my nails, or vogue.. I love you, doll!

14. Dance class… Hindi Class… fun times..

15. Trading Spaces this Saturday night?

16. We don’t know each other that well… but thanks for always bringing a smile to my face, and always providing a word of encouragement. You’re so awesome. I hope you’re having a fantastic time.. Can’t wait to hang out once you get back!

17. So.. what are we going to do about all those problems in the Middle East?

18. you STILL haven’t taught me hindi.. but I love having a brown bitching buddy.. and we still have to choreograph all our recast songs!

19. I miss our several KB long emails; daily MSN conversations; and all night phone calls… all of our silly antics, like the “All in Black Thanksgiving Brunch”. You are such a great guy.. and, an unbelievably hospitable host.. hope all is well with you.. martinis when I get back?

20. YOU COPIED ME!!! But Economics is sooooo much better than Poli Sci! Thanks for understanding all my rantings.. Hugs!
